mat and katy - vintage crush

katy loves shoes…like real shoes…christian louboutin, jimmy choo, manolo blahnik…super fine shoes. mat loves planes…old planes, new planes, flying in planes…and airports.  we had planned this crush shoot for some time, finding and deciding on vintage details was the most incredible fun. the best score was finding keith and his original london black taxi cabs…keith is a genuine, honest, hard working gentleman…and we are so fortunate he agreed to join us.  we began with mikes vintage camera…for authenticity…

with immense gratitude to dallas and the rest of the crew at the bunbury flying school, we set up studio in hanger number one with the pretty blue and red seventies plane (forgive my ignorance mat - i know shoes, not planes :) )

as the planes were being bought in, and pilots were wondering who the hell these crazy people were with lights and cables and laughter - we snuck in a few more before the gates closed behind us…

thank you ever so much mat and katy for all the extras you provided to make this shoot so memorable and classy…the most incredible fun :) and just because we love you and we know katy must be faffing about the house with all those ostrich feathers wondering where oh where is her blog post…a few sneak peek images from one totally vintage drama wedding…

many more yummy images on the way very soon…plus loads of shoe envy portraits and more than a couple of images of one camera shy best man?????? xx

chris and kelly - down on one knee

we met with chris and kelly, soon to be married, on a glorious sunny sunday arvo for a few sweet images…

this lovely young couple booked us over two years ago…and beautiful kelly has been blog stalking us ever since!

…chris was a “self-confessed-non-poser” for photos, but after mike’s lame jokes and my encouraging smiles,

these two rocked the red mill store…:)

the light after 7′oclock is buttery and summery and oh so lovely…

i have had my eye on this abandoned house for a few days, although mike kept insisting that he was sure it was occupied…

so we did laps around the rear and the wheelie bins were overgrown with 3 years of weeds and a colony of badgers…so i was pretty sure we were safe…

this is definately my fave…taken by mike “i’m sorry babe, i was wrong - again” he he he…

it was so nice to catch up with you two lovely people again…

…we hope the mums loved these summer shots…
