life is indeed good for this incredibly beautiful couple…ben, who happens to be one of the most genuine nice blokes you will ever meet, is an amazing landscape photographer, who we admire greatly
and together (well, with rach’s determination, enthusiasm and brilliance) they operate their own gallery in bunbury, BJK…and rach - well, rach is the beaming light of goodness that guides her man home…
they love the travel, the coast and the ocean and possess the most insurmountable honest love for each other…
today was a great day for us - mike was pumped with his new 5d mkII - and we knew that this wedding was destined to be fun…
rocking up at bens we were met by poppy - who barely liked us…and stood watch over the proceedings the whole time…
so I snuck into the boys room and away from her glaring dislike…
and even with ben’s coaxing, “be nice to the photographers” she still was aiming to get us on her dinner plate…
we were certain rach was going style all the way…until we arrived at the salon of smooth synergy to find nanna coathangers and forgotten to wash undies drying in the sun…
but that was the end of all dagginess - the flowers were unique and just divine…
as was her stunning gown…
are you friggin kiddin me?
sorry, i cant speak…
now i’m just holding my breath…
some laughter with the hot girls…

off to the basalt rocks at bunbury (we were hoping for broome guys!) where this folksy fellow filled our souls with melodies…
and one hot dude was waiting for his bride…
who arrived with a glorious smile that did not leave her beautiful face…

lucky we persuaded them to join us for these awesome images…i asked our art teacher at school “what would contrast with tangerine?” - and he insited i go blue all the way…

a “go to bed at 2am to be woken by cold water to continue partying” big night
one groomsman was so completely unwell that he barely managed more than a grimace all day - see if you can pick which one…
not that ben was affected…lovin this…

the silver mustang was hot hot hot…
then we took off to the new manea college as the angles and the sky were going to rock…
a little grunge…
when we ask the bridal party to kiss the reactions are varied and fairly funny…but none have made me crack up more so than this series…i laugh each and every time i look at them…i’m laughing now, seriously cracking up…

we arrived at capel vale - the most awesome venue and food and staff - and much to the horror of the guests, we departed for rach’s sunset images…
this is where the 5dmkII and its handsome, brilliant and somewhat smug operator kicked my ass for the shot of the day…

and just because i am not bitter and twisted about losing…here is another by my man…
the speeches were incredibly emotional, this young couple are loved and adored and rightly so…ben’s speech had me in tears for the majority and then rach to the rescue with an impromptu madonna karoake performance that had the girls cheering from the sidelines…
like a virgin indeed…:)
i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again - nothing screams individuality like a cake topper…
dance was sweet…
and then the party rocked…
girls game involved lots of running and stealing and stripping and older men in their jocks on the dance floor…
boys game was limbo and dance comp and plenty of cheering…
rach loved the barn doors at capel vale so we saved this spot for some moonlight lovin…my shot

time to go home…
