busy

life has been really busy of late…

i am working, like real back breaking sitting up all night and sparrows fart early mornings, editing our lovely weddings

and mike?

well, mike has been patiently waiting for me to finish all the work…

“babe, lets go to dome for a latte?” “sorry babe, can’t too busy”

“babe, lets go and have a look at bunnings?” “no can do percy, too busy”

(side note: if i had a dollar for every time we went to bunnings i would own the store)

“mumsy, are you planning on cooking dinner soon” “sorry love, too busy”

“mum, have you washed my football gear?” “oh my gosh, i forgot i was so busy”

and so the list goes on…

anyhooo…late one night when mike gave up on conversation with his hunchback partner being warmed by the light of a monitor…

he captured a self portrait

then played around with a few new techniques in good ole time wasting pshop…

pretty good huh?

although quite forlorn and despondent, an awesome image…

love your work babe…feel like a latte?

:)

a thank you note

we sing loud and proud that we have the absolute best clients ever…

…they laugh at mike’s jokes, comply with totally out there location requests, smile, kiss and stare like seasoned professional models…

…and they thank us…

…go figure, we need to thank THEM :)

but we receive flowers, wine, chocolates, vouchers to our fave restaurants, wine, cards, notes and wine from

incredible clients who we are honoured to call our friends…

…this note from tim and tara made me cry…

…it also made me run around the house (and garden - sorry next door fred - i should have changed out of my pj’s first)

exclaiming that we have the worlds best clients…:)

and because “no post shall be without a picture”

daisy turned 4 and we had a party, with face painting and pass the parcel and a bouncy castle and her best friends…

even all 5 older siblings participated (and ate!) and laughed at how 4 year old friends chat about life as they eat cake…
